Final Grades - Summer 2004 Semester

Well, that was it.  Another summer semester, which has covered a lot of new ideas, and having a lot of work to do.

There didn't seem to be enough time to discuss any topic in more depth, but I hope you were given an overview of all the important topics, and had some fun along the way.

Even with a small class, it was a pleasure to be your teacher.  I thank each and everyone of you for making it a great semester.

For those students wondering if computing science is potential career option, I'd recommend it be taken under serious consideration.  The field is extremely varied, challenging, and a heck of a lot of fun!

My words of advice are,

• learn your lessons well, and apply your knowledge wisely
• do not dwell on your successes, and never forget your mistakes (grow from both)
• share your experiences with others, and always keep your eyes and ears open far wider than your mouth
• and don't forget what you learned in COMP123--don't be expecting things to get easier, only better

I won't soon forget this group, so if you ever have any questions, or just want to talk, my office door is always open, and my e-mail always ready to receive.

And one last thing: always comment, and comment well.
